MEET COACH COX
Coach Cox is the head coach at Paris Junior College and founder of Infield U. He has a vast range of experience having coached at the high school, NCAA and Junior College levels. An international clinician on infield play, Coach Cox has coached a total of 33 all-conference selections, 19 all-region selections and 6 All-Americans in his time at the collegiate level. In five years as the head coach at Paris Junior College, the Dragons have seen 56 players under his tutelage move on to play at NCAA programs, with 46 of those having gone to the Division I level. He has coached 36 MLB draft picks, over 40 players who have signed to play professionally and four that have played in the big leagues.
Coach Cox has a passion and love for infield play that runs deep. He has spoken on infield play at clinics across the country and internationally, including the ABCA National Convention, multiple state and high school clinics and the Best Ever Clinic in Ontario. He has had the pleasure to share his love and knowledge of infield play on numerous podcasts and zoom clinics as well. He also serves on the USA Baseball 17U Task Force, helping to identify potential players for Team USA from all across the country.
Coach Cox received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching and holds Master’s degrees from Concordia University-Irvine (Coaching & Athletic Administration) and the University of West Alabama (Physical Education). He and his wife Kristin reside in Paris, TX and have two sons, Connor and Cade.
